ABOUT ME

I just moved into Calgary and I have a big craving to meet new people!! I'm originally from Edmonton and spent all of my life there developing some really close friends. I'm excited about Couch Surfing and about the opportunity to meet cool people and try so many fun things. I am pretty open to anything, but if you want to make me reeeeeaaally happy, I love to play basketball or do any other kinds of sports outside.

PHILOSOPHY

My personal philosophy has been reinforced especially recently. I believe that clever people meet other people, read their personalities / strengths / flaws, and adjusts their behaviors accordingly. But I think the truly clever people meet other people, read their personalities /strengths / flaws, and make an active decision to not let these affect the way they treat them.

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I'm completely new to the CS Project. I guess how I'd want to contribute is by getting over my initial fears and intimidation of meeting new people through CS, and then helping other people who are new to the website get over their fears too.

I'll listen to almost anything except super hard punk rock. I love 90's music, R&B, and Rap especially.

For movies, comedies are definitely my favorite. One of my favorite all time movies is Billy Madison. It's a comedy and it's from the 90's, go figure!

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I have my black belt in Karate. Martial arts has been a huge part of my life as I trained in it for over 10 years.
