ABOUT ME

I have spent my time since college trying to figure out what to do and where to go. It's taken me to a lot of different places and I've been lucky enough to find something wonderful about each one. I am an extremely calm and easy-going person but my demeanor shouldn't be confused with a lack of interest, passion, or comprehension. There are times when I simply enjoy listening more than speaking. I like to think of myself as an optimist and idealist even when it isn't entirely practical.

PHILOSOPHY

I'm new to the CouchSurfing community but I've met many people and have many friends who have hosted and been hosted. It seems like a community I would really enjoy adding to and being a part of.

I have a minor in Spanish and am always interested in continuing my education of the language.
I've had several jobs cooking, some more intense than others, and am always looking to cook for others. I like trying new recipes, particularly if they're vegetarian so I can try them too,
I'm learning to play guitar and always love to learn new songs/chords/techniques. I am also more than happy to share the little knowledge I've gained.
I like to explore new cities and places by running through them...so I guess I'm willing to share a run.
