About Me

Married to an amazing man who shares my passion for travel and my love of life. Between us we have 5 grown children and we welcomed our first grandchild in January 2015. growing up I never lived anywhere for more than about 2.5 years at a time so i developed a curiosity, respect, and passion for traveling and experiencing/embracing the new and different! Living the expat life since 2012 when we moved to south Arica, then the UAE and now Busan, South Korea.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I have always felt that "mi casa es su casa" and as such I've welcomed people into my home almost my entire adult life.....not sure how long couchsurfing.org has been around but I've been doing it informally for years now. I love meeting new people and learning about different cultures and lifestyles and a friend of mine suggested I give this a try.

Music, Movies, and Books

Music: Roger Clyne and the Peacemakers. If you don't know who they are, ya should! 😉. I don't have a musical bone in my body so I have a great appreciation for musicians who share their talents. I am a huge supporter of local music and was even written about in the now defunct "Get Out" magazine in Phoenix when they did an article on the local music scene.

Movies...comedy, romance, thriller, drama...pretty much everything except horror.

Books....not much of a reader although I do love almost everything dean koontz has ever written.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Bungee jumped both frontwards and backwards off the world's highest bungee bridge (Bloukrans in South Africa).
