ABOUT ME

Well all 3 of us really enjoy life and try to make the best out of every situation. We are all very kind, respectful, and happy people.

2 of us are elementary school teachers (we just finished our first year so its holiday time!) and the other is a future dentist or lawyer. We all have a passion for helping people and that is probably what drew us to this project. Everyone is so willing to help others it is pretty neat to see.

We are all young, and always have things to talk about,most of the time we end up talking about one thing and once we're done we have no idea how the conversation took so many turns.

PHILOSOPHY

As far as philosophies go, the one we typically live by is that we have but one chance to experience as much as we can. There are so many advantages to knowing and experiencing different types of people and cultures.
In Canada we are multicultural but Canada is so big that it's not always easy to experience these. In our trip to Europe we will be able to experience so many different people and cultures that will greatly enhance our world view and probably make us better people in the end.

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

We have just found out about the project so we have not had any real experience with this project. We all however, have given up our houses for others to use on many occasions. Hopefully we will get the opportunity to host someone from a different country soon.

Well once all 3 of us were hiking in the rocky mountains close to Calgary and found ourselves pretty lost in the backcountry.

We had to make our way across the river twice, with no bridge. The crazy part is, once we got back to the base camp area, we realized that the 16km portion of the hike was closed off and bridges removed to ensure that humans and grizzly bears were separated. This was quite a scary situation but it was really fun.

Well we all are very knowledgeable in many, many things that people may find strange and interesting. I'm sure you will be quite amazed at the things we can share and come up with.
