CURRENT MISSION
learning to know the world through people
ABOUT ME
I am married and have a wife and two daughters. As for my job, I am a chemist and have always worked in the food industry; at the same time I am professor at the university.
To begin with, I like traveling very much; I have enjoyed all of my trips in the country and abroad. I like to meet new people, learn about their habits, and try to live like one of them when I am abroad.
I enjoy taking pictures, and I am rather good at it, preferring black and white to colour photographs. Portraits are my favourite, but I also like pictures depicting life in the city, architecture and composition in general.
I also like reading very much, from Shakespeare to modern literature, mostly novels and social issues. I try to keep up the languages I have learnt, therefore I alternatively read books in English, French or German.
As top my personality, I am rather shy, but enjoy the company of the others, have sense of humour and this for me is very important to find in other people. I like to laugh, I think I am funny. Sometimes I enjoy being adventurous.
Interests
I also enjoy paintings: André Derain, Monet, Renoir, Egon Schiele, van Gogh, Cézanne, Delacroix, Whistler, Emil Nolde, Sisley.

Music, Movies, and Books
I like the films from Chabrol, Martin Scorcese, Truffaut, and some others. In general I prefer dram and sometimes thrillers.
As for music, I enjoy classical, my favourite composers being Debussy, Ravel, Poulenc, Stravinsky and also Mozart and Bach. I also like jazz very much; here I am quite selective: I prefer piano trios, especially Brad Mehldau and Bill Evans, then Keith Jarrett, Chick Corea or the Dave Brubeck Quartet.
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
climbing to Rockefeller Center in New York, the city view is amazing.
strolling through Central Park, New York, I could live there for ever!
Visiting le Chateau des Sceaux near Paris, it is like Versailles but much smaller, almost no one around, all to yourself!
