Overview
About Me
I don’t travel to escape. I travel to feel.
Raised in Medina, shaped by desert silence and Arabian hospitality — where a distant fire once meant warmth, safety, and stories waiting in the dark. I’ve been on Couchsurfing since 2014. For me, it has never been about the couch. It’s about presence… and the kind of connection that lingers after goodbye.
I’m a medical doctor by profession, but what truly interests me is human nature — the pauses between words, the hidden motivations, the spark in someone’s eyes when they speak about what they love. Psychology, belief systems, ambition, power, history… I’m drawn to depth.
I travel slowly. I prefer fewer places, deeper moments.
Late-night conversations that stretch without noticing the time. Shared coffee that turns into shared perspective. The kind of silence that feels intentional, not empty.
Fluent in Arabic and English, learning more languages — because understanding someone in their own words feels more intimate than translation.
Calm. Observant. Respectful.
A good listener… but not entirely predictable.
If we meet, expect thoughtful exchange, subtle humor, steady energy — and maybe a conversation that stays in your mind longer than you expected.
Some connections are loud.
The rare ones are quiet… and magnetic.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
Because real travel is about people.
Hotels give comfort. Locals give perspective. I enjoy meaningful interaction, cultural exchange, spontaneous plans, cooking together, long discussions, and discovering places through someone who actually lives there.
For me, Couchsurfing is not accommodation — it’s connection.

Music, Movies, and Books
Music:
I’m drawn to music with soul. Classic and Eastern melodies, especially artists like Umm Kulthum and old-school Arabic legends — the kind of music that feels like a story, not just a song. I also appreciate instrumental pieces and soundtracks that carry emotion without words.
Movies:
I enjoy films that explore psychology, ambition, power, and human complexity. Stories that make you think long after they end. I like intelligent cinema — character-driven, layered, sometimes intense, sometimes philosophical.
Books:
I’m interested in psychology, strategy, history, belief systems, and human behavior. Books that explore influence, self-mastery, and the deeper motivations behind people fascinate me. I enjoy reading about different civilizations and how power shapes the world.
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
Riding a Mongolian horse across the green hills of Central Mongolia — feeling complete silence, endless horizon, and pure freedom. It reminded me how small we are… and how alive we can feel.
Teach, Learn, Share
Teaching:
I can teach you Arabic — not only the language, but the expressions, humor, and cultural depth behind it. I can also teach you how to sing in Arabic (especially Eastern style), introduce you to desert traditions, and share insights about psychology, human behavior, and even basic medical knowledge if you’re curious.
Learning:
I’m deeply curious about cultures, belief systems, habits, and the way different societies think. I love understanding how people see the world — from daily routines to big philosophical ideas. Teach me your traditions, your perspective, your story.
Sharing:
I share stories from the road, from medicine, from the desert, from slow travels across countries. I share conversations, food, music, ideas, and sometimes silence. I believe the best exchanges are honest and unfiltered.
