About Me

CURRENT MISSION

To find adventure and open minded people!!

ABOUT ME

Hey people! So I'm Rita. I'm 22, well actually by the time I go travelling I will be 23 (ouch! :P) and I have a massive thirst for adventure, and meeting new open minded people. I am a poitive bubbly person who loves a laugh, honest and sincere... I feel a bit like I'm writing a profile for a dating website haha!!

PHILOSOPHY

I like to look at life from a different perspective and question beliefs and views on life. I love seeing new cultures, experiencing different things and listening to different opinions. My opinion is that... there is soo much to see in the world, and life has got to be more than the standard work/marriage/mortgage/kids/die combination. We have way more potential!

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

Well, I'm new to CouchSurfing, so haven't participated in anything yet! I am going travelling for 6 months across South America in December and thought that this would be an incredible way of doing it. When I'm back I am quite happy to meet people and show then round London, and hopefully offer them a couch too depending on where I'm living when I get back!

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

None as yet!

Interests

I am obsessed with travelling, although I haven't actually done much yet, I am big on my nutrition and healthy eating and stuff, love a good rave, I'm a bit of an adrenaline junkie, and also like to chill with a good game of cards...

Music, Movies, and Books

Movies - an all time favorite for me has got to be Gladiator, also love Avatar, The Hangover films...

Music - loving my Drum & Bass at the moment, a bit of B-Complex to chill out to, also Ed Sheeran is amazing. And then I'm a big fan of classics like Paul Simon, Fleetwood Mac, Tracy Chapman, Led Zeppelin, Dire Straits...

Books - some of my favorites include Phillip Pullman's Dark Materials, Dan Brown's books, Paulo Coelho's Eleven Minutes, The Witch of Portobello and Veronika Decides to Die, etc, and on the non fiction front, a bit of Patrick Holford, Linda Goodman and Nexus Magazine

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Just one? Um... ok... well I went to Brazil for a month, that was pretty cool. I also popped my Ibiza cherry this year, which was amazing. Hmm. I need to work on this. My mission for my 6 months will be to come up with something more amazing than that!

Teach, Learn, Share

Oooh what could I teach or share? Well I can speak fluent Latin American Spanish, I make a really good fish pie or apple crumble, and I lived for 9 years in a hippie town so I can share some alternative stories from my childhood!

Countries I’ve Visited
