ABOUT ME

After 6.5 years of uni I went off on my token explore-the-world-for-18-months type trip brushing all continents bar Africa and the big white cold one, but I guess you have to leave something for next time :)

Now I'm in the pursuit of occupation for money without the feeling of work. For now I'm building a weekend house for my family... Any other ideas? haha

Oh, and I'm making a documentary about a little boat we made powered by motorcycles to sail from Colombia to Panama across the caribbean. Nothing too obscene.

I was a host when I lived in Melbourne, then I surfed in Sweden and the USA

Now I get to be a host again! Game on!

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

My cousin couch-surfed in Germany and the whole concept is such a great idea that I had to hitch onto the band wagon!

I dig anything active- canyoning, caving, camping, canoeing, drinking, reading a book, music, sleeping - everything active. I'll try anything twice.

Music! Almost any Australian is great, Aussie hip-hop, Xavier Rudd, Butterfingers, Old School - Presidents of the USA, The streets. I play a little guitar also, so singalongs are tops!
Movies take up too much time that can be spent living life. So; Anchorman Zoolander, Waynes World, Waynes World 2, and more!
Books, Bill Bryson is a current 'like' and anything fast paced will suck me in, Matthew Reily, Clive Cussler, even John Grisham.

I have been air-lifted out of a canyon by a helicopter, been lost and trapped in a blizzard in Mongolia at -40 deg C, partied in Rio for Carnival, ice climbed glaciers in Patagonia, ridden a motorcycle through South America, built a boat powered by motorcycle to cross the Darien Gap and road trippped through the states in a Limo... And it's not over yet :)
