I'm a former opera singer now software developer. Now that I have a nice apartment I enjoy sharing my good fortune with fellow travelers. I've got a ton of different interests, everything from rock climbing to dancing to board games to weightlifting. I take pleasure in getting out of my comfort zone and try to do so on a regular basis.

Interests

I've gotten back into theatre lately and it's become my primary hobby, so if you're staying with me you'll probably have to tolerate me practicing. I love to sing in general and frequently go out for karaoke. I lift weights four times per week and generally get around the city walking. I don't smoke. I drink socially but generally not much, and if I do drink a lot, I'll probably just tell you all the things I think are awesome about you. I'm also into trivia if you'd enjoy playing a game of Jeopardy together at home.

Music, Movies, and Books

Mostly listen to classical music but I try and listen to all sorts of stuff. One of the things I've loved about couchsurfing is listening to music from everyone's home countries.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I'm a published author of a successful self-help book. Makes me a few grand a year and nothing beats the thank you emails from people who've changed their lives.

Can teach you about working out, programming, and I'm pretty skilled at organizing events and spontaneously making friends with strangers.
