ABOUT ME

I am 29 and I was laid off from my job with a financial company in Boston in the beginning of 2010. I have always loved traveling and I have lived in Norway and South Korea before. I've been living in Shenzhen China since the beginning of 2011 and it's been fun so far.

PHILOSOPHY

Wow. hmmm... life is a gift although sometimes it doesn't feel like it. Buy the truth and do not sell it. Love thy neighbor as thyself. I try not to take anything too seriously. I live my life because I feel compelled to survive, be happy, and make those around me happy.

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I first signed up for couch surfing when I met some friends in Thailand who used it. In January I moved in with my friend Thibaut who is a very active member of the couch surfing community. We have hosted lots of people and even a massive party for all of the members in Shenzhen. I've enjoyed it so far and I plan to be more active in the future.

我做过的一件不可思议的事情

I traveled above the arctic circle in northern Norway during the winter. I saw the sun rise just enough for a few hours to turn the snowy mountain islands of Lofoten bright pink! After the sun failed to completely rise the bright moon and northern lights would light up the sky for the next 19-20 hours. The multi-colored lights would dance all over the sky and also light up the white mountains with rich green and yellow. I have seen many other amazing things but Northern Norway in winter wins!
