ABOUT ME

I'm an American currently studying abroad in Germany. It's my first time in Europe, and I'd love to see as much of it as I can. I'm a geography major, who wants to make maps for a living. I'm a quiet nerdy guy.

PHILOSOPHY

I live to learn. I like learning about pretty much anything. From Nuclear Physics to Botany, I'll listen and absorb.

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

Being away from home, living in student dorms, I don't really have any space to host anyone, but hopefully after my year abroad, I'll go home and be able to pay it back to other people.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I have yet to have any CouchSurfing experiences. Hopefully soon I'll have a good story and be able to update this.

Movies: Lord of the Rings, Star Wars, Ben-Hur
Music: Any classical music, power metal, classic rock, I'll like pretty much anything except rap and country.
Books: I tend to read alot of Non-fiction, but I love Science fiction. My absolute favorite author is Isaac Asimov.

Une aventure extraordinaire que j'ai vécue

I would say the most amazing thing that I've done is to go on this study abroad trip. Until now, I've never been very far from home, never lived outside of Oregon, but for a year now I'll be in a completely new environment.

Enseignez, apprenez, partagez

The only area that I'm really knowledgeable about is Geography. I could teach people about geography if anyone actually wants that. I also really like Linguistics, and could go into a bit of detail with that. Other than that, I know a bit about alot of things. I can talk about physics, chemistry, biology and lots of other sciences, but plenty of people know alot more than I do. I also know lots of random trivia, but I can't really teach that to anyone.
