About Me

CURRENT MISSION

Live it and love it!

ABOUT ME

I'm a hiking and camping enthusiast - I love being outdoors and chasing bits of wildlife. I finished university last year and am working out my next move. I'm planning to spend the next few years getting fieldwork experience, and hopefully a job doing something related to ecology and conservation!

PHILOSOPHY

Live every day to the full. Never stop dreaming. Love yourself

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I was introduced to couchsurfing in Boulder Colorado after hitch-hiking there from Denver. My experiences so far have been wonderful, and I think couchsurfing is a great way to get to know a place by hanging out with locals.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

My couchsurfing experience so far has been on par with a five start resort experience. My host took me climbing, introduced me to MASSIVE home-cooked american hamburgers, and also kept the party rolling with a mid-night hot-tub dip!

Interests

I love spending time outdoors. I love hiking and camping and spend every spare weekend in the Blue Mountains. In the summer I like keeping cool by going canyoning! I'm passionate about biology and particularly interested in making a career as a field researchers primarily focused on conservation and land management. I'd like to travel a lot before getting bogged down in a proper job though!

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Hard to choose from, so I guess I'll go with one of the most rescent - climbing South Arapahoe peak (4115 m), and getting to the top without meeting a single other person all day. Feeling of total freedom, and part of nature.
