I am a graduate student at Washington State University, but I am at Mount Vernon research center instead of the main campus. I am conducting researches with raspberries and blueberry growers on their farms. I love the people here, especially the professors in school and farmers from the industry. They all devote to their job and research.

I love reading and reading, never stop! I weightlift at least three times a week. Recently, I am getting busy with other works, but still want to keep my weightlifting going. Importantly, I love talking and making new friends! I am always eager to hear people's stories and philosophies that often teach me a lot!

I am from China, but I did my junior and senior of college at the university in Nebraska, I gapped a year at home and worked as an English teacher, and came back to continue my degree in horticulture.

I am ashamed that i could not host surfers as i am staying in the university housing, once i move out, I'd like to host people around the world.

Right now, I am also devoting myself to research, and so far, my research has a big impact on growers in terms of acres and knowledge, which i am proud of and happy about. I hope i could reachout more growers.

I am extrovert as i get energies while talking to people. I always find that I could learn so much from talking with people, especially their ways of living and sensing the world and themselves.

Couchsurfing gives me an excellent chance to get to know excellent people around the world. I think spending time with locals in a 'strange' city not only brings me into the city but also depicting the city to me, which is different from traveling the city by myself. Again, I like great people and being around with them. CS provides me an avenue to know tremendous people that I could hang out with. Exchanging ideas!
