Overview
About Me
Grew up mostly in England. Went to uni and dropped out of Uni. Had some savings, spent them traveling. Worked as a Chef for 10ish years
Philosophically I guess I am a mixture between Absurdist and Stoic. I embrace the bizzar but try to do things with a purpose of learning from them. Everyone knows something I don't and through conversations at least I should learn a little...
I like eating and drinking...
Just because there is no inherent meaning in the world doesn't mean you can't make some.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
I find couchsurfing always provides and richer and fulfilling experience.
Interests
I also play the guitar... Badly.
I love cooking and like eating!
I'm interested in politics, science and random little facts/curiosities. I have read a few books on social anthropology and find them fascinating. I get lost in many different types of books
Live Music and Music festivals are in my opinion one of the greatest things in the world.
- music festivals
- festivals
- cooking
- beer
- politics
- traveling
- music
- live music
- scuba diving
- science
- social anthropology
Music, Movies, and Books
I like lots of differnt types of music: Ska, Roots Reggae, Electro Swing, Chilled stuff, Blues, Classical (Dvorak!), Jazz.... Can't be bothered to list everything, I don't even know the names for half of it.
So many good films in the world, Quentin Tarentino is one of my favourite directors. Again the list is endless.... Star Wars, The Grand Budapest Hotel, 12 Angry Men, Spongebob Movie, Blazing Saddles, Shaun Of The Dead etc
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
I built my own speakers... Solo treking in the Himalayas... And work away experiences
Teach, Learn, Share
I can teach people how to cook...
What I Can Share with Hosts
Share some beers a few stories, generally very happy to learn help with something or cook something.
