Irinka (a charming girl from Minsk) - I guided her off & on for 2 days in Warsaw.
Darya (another charming girl from Minsk!) - I hosted her for 3 nights in Warsaw with impromptu city guiding.

Passionate & honest creativity in art, music & photography. I was born in raised in New Zealand. It took me over 25 years before I saw the West Coast of the South Island - deeply spiritual & utterly stunning location!

FILMS: American Beauty - 10/10. Perfect. The aftershock from this film stayed with me for weeks. No, YEARS!
Four Lions - 9/10. Black, black UK terrorist comedy,. Somehow manages to be simultaneously hilarious & deeply moving.
MUSIC: Talk Talk "Laughing Stock" - 10/10. Perfect. The greatest album my ears have ever heard. Unclassifiable. No piece of art has reinforced so strongly the beauty & futility of life as this.
BOOK*: Bob Geldof "Is That It?" - 10/10. Perfect. Wonderfully written autobiography. Every page is filled with extremes of emotion.
* I've just got my first Kindle eReader - so, at last, I can start to enjoy the thrill of a good book again!
