About Me
CURRENT MISSION
To collect stamps on my passport! Seriously though, I love travelling and meeting interesting people from interesting places; I enjoy getting the local view rather than doing the generic touristy stuff.
ABOUT ME
Hey!
I'm a recent uni grad traveling around Europe and looking to settle in Berlin. I have a degree based in international politics, development and journalism, a fairly wide spectrum that has made it easy to travel but hard to find a specific job! Alongside my degree I also have a keen interest in photography and social media (as does everyone... sell it Hugh!) which also tends to fuel my addiction to travel. I grew up in Sydney, Australia, in a big family with 2 brothers and 1 sister. Back home I work in hospitality, specifically with a Sydney coffee roaster. It may sound funny to the unitiated to mention this in an 'about me' but it tends to be a lens I travel with - I love different conceptions of space and am always interested in new coffee or culinary experiences, from street food in Asia to fine Dining in San Francisco. I've been fortunate enough to travel a lot in the last couple of years, I've seen a lot of South East Asia and lived in Ontario, Canada for a while, and have been away for a further 3 months this year. I'm also looking to learn as much German as possible in the coming months, any help would be much appreciated! :)

Specialty coffee - bean to cup - I have previously taught barista courses in Australia, but also have a limited (but growing!)knowledge of how origin factors influence cup quality - so geeky.
English - my major at university was journalism, I'm sure there could be an educational value there!
