ABOUT ME

"It's no measure of health to be well adjusted to a profoundly sick society. " Jiddu Krishnamurti

Hey citizen of this beautiful world.
About me?
Always hard to describe ourself objectively, but still...

My hometown is in Sarreguemines (little village in France at the boarder of Germany), I studied in Strasbourg (Biology, Plants, Microbiology...) And lived in Paris, Lille and now Montpellier.. I like sciences since a long time. I try to explain all the thing which are around us, and everything what happened can be explain. I like all kind of discussion, around a table with some beers, always! ;)
I try to make as sport as I can, jogging, swimming, biking, tennis, paddel tennis... I play Flying Disc in a club.
I use every free time to travel and go ahead this world which can be so beautiful and surprising!

"Travel is the only thing you buy, that makes you richer"

PHILOSOPHY

I love nature and I respect it. I appreciate the honesty as well as people of integrity. I am by nature very calm (i mean i'm never angry, for nothing) and I try not to take my head for trivia. Life is short, but it's the longest thing that i have. I try to enjoy each moment as if it's the last one, til the day when it'll be the last! =)

About love : €œIf you love a flower, don'€™t pick it up.
Because if you pick it up it dies and it ceases to be what you love.
So if you love a flower, let it be.
Love is not about possession.
Love is about appreciation." Osho.

Take a smile ! :)

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

You can live amazing things everyday.
Get offline - Free your mind - Go outside - Look up at the sky - take in the beauty of the real world - exchange a smile - Reclaim free time - update your state, not just your status - Disconnect to reconnect.

Sometimes, the journey is just at your street corner !

Some weird things:
-Holding a caiman in French Guyana, at 2.00 am on a canoe in the middle of nowhere.

-Observe the departure of the rocket Ariane 5 in Kourou

-I've seen wild bears and wild whales in Canada

-Even if i prefer nature to big cities, i felt very little in the middle of Times Square or at the top of the Empire State Building

-Climbing the Diable Via Ferrata during 5 hours, Mont-Tremblant National Park, Canada. Total elevation gained is 600 feet, and most of it is vertical. Perfects landscapes on a vast territory offering an abundance of nature : rolling hills, lakes, and rivers.. Happiness !

-Carnaval of Dunkerque, North of France, very famous in our counrty, Fancy dresses full of colors.

-CS event Canöe Tour in Hungary. A hole week paddling in the Danube with 30 others couchsurfers from all around the world, sleeping in the wild and cooking typicals Central Europ dishes.

-I broke 2 teeths while windsurfing on the Eastcost of Morocco

-After enjoying the culture of the city, chilling in Barcelona on different club around the beach
-When I was younger (18, not really the same way of spending my holidays now) but 10 days hanging out in Mallorca was very fun and tiring at the same time.
- I've been to different cities in Germany for the Football World Cup in 2006. I've seen France-South Korea (Leipzig), France-Togo (Koln) and France-Spain (Hanover) good moments of share with others, not the kind of things you can heard on media or TV info.

-I played the National championship of Tennis. 5 games in different cities of France with my club and my partners. Our best meeting was playing to Saint-Tropez, our club had reserve for us an hotel with swimming pool and which you can see the sea, was very beautiful

-A rooftop Barbecue in Budapest with couchsurfers, and an amazing seen on the entire city and all the floodlit main buildings, Wow!

-Camping in the suburb of Amsterdam

-Beeing hosted in Poland on a very hold house (150 years) in the region of Mazury (big lakes), near Lituany for 4 days with 25 couchsurfeurs on the same place.

-A trip in Espana (Madrid, Toledo and Salamanca) everytime in contact with locals thanks to CS, a perfect way to improving a langague and knowing local's culture.

-I slept in a car in front of the lakes of Connemara, and then i've been hiking all day long in the natrure (Ireland)

-I took a bath in thermals water in Montenejos (Spain) in the middle of the montains.

-During my Balkans road trip, i danced barefoot in the mud of Guça Festival in Serbia, the biggest Trompet Festival in the world

-I swam with the Turtles during my stay in Martinique

-During my trip in Cambodia i felt so free doing Motobike in the countryside and meeting local people, visiting schools, been to wedding and seen the amazing Angkor Vat

- Songkran in Bangkok, the biggest water fight during the Buddhist New Year

-Hope to write there the experience i'm gonna have with you ! =)
