About Me

I'm an independent, really open-minded, and full of eager traveler from Brazil (but living in Amsterdam for the past 3 years). I want to keep traveling the world looking forward to meeting more people, learning about other cultures, photographing, and having amazing moments that will help me grow as a person. I love photography, and being able to exchange culture through my lenses and my portfolio: https://readymag.website/u2748263129/5282752/

I have an MA in Anthropology, and have lived in different countries, researching and doing field work.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I've traveled a lot and am really used to the Hostel life and classic traveling. Nonetheless, I feel that through Couchsurfing, I can experience cities in a closer, more local way! I'm really sociable, so traveling and staying with locals is an amazing opportunity for me to really get in touch with each culture, exchange knowledge, make new friends, and have fun.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

From volcano climbing in Guatemala and Falafel eating competitions in Palestine to pyramid exploration in Egypt and Scuba in Belize, I've gathered so many amazing and unique travel experiences which I would love to share!

Teach, Learn, Share

Knowledge sharing is what I seek while traveling. I feel that experiences such as Couchsurfing are perfect to gather new information and share what we already have. As a real social being, I love to listen and learn, especially about languages, food, photography, and anything culture/society-related. As I prepare to start my MA in Anthropology, I want to gather as much experience as possible, since knowledge should never be restricted to academia.

What I Can Share with Hosts

Everything! As travelers, gatekeeping is the last thing we should do. Travel is meant to share, and so is knowledge. I would be happy to share anything about Brazil, photography, travel tips, mutual language learning, cooking and etc... I am really proactive and hate feeling useless, so I will always make sure to be actively sharing knowledge and helping with what is needed, after all, Couchsurfing is friendship.
