About Me

My name is hugo, I was raised in the UK, currently studying Computer science in Canada (yes, I'm collecting countries like Pokemon). I'm like super chill and a tiny bit curious about everything and always down for a hike, wine, good conversation and a spontaneous adventure.

I love unique experiences and a sucker for a good story times. I've had my own fair share of life and don't mind sharing my why and how I decided to move to Canada alone at 19. I yap a lot as you'll eventually find out.

I would be glad to host in the Niagara region if you're visiting. Note: just one surfer. thanks

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

To me the best part of traveling is the people not the landmarks as cliche as it sounds. I had a 2yr long acct i deleted when the subscription thing rolled out but the community here is unlike anywhere else. I’m hoping to meet people who enjoy sharing space, stories, and maybe a plate of food. hehe feed me :)

Music, Movies, and Books

I'm a big Taylor swift fan but Afrobeats and Amapiano is home for me, Burna boy, Wizkid and Tems but I'm open to almost all kinda songs and whatever makes my walk to class feel like a movie.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I learned how to tango from a random stranger in a park. Chaos? Yes. Worth it? Absolutely.

Teach, Learn, Share

I can show you how to cook a simple Nigerian meal, teach you basic coding (if that’s your vibe).

What I Can Share with Hosts

I can read the room and will try to make my stay as effortless as possible for you.
A calm, respectful presence in your space. I'll leave whenever you leave and come back when you do.
A home-cooked meal (as long as you don’t mind a bit of spice!)
Language and culture exchange from Nigerian roots to UK humor to Canadian politeness
Help with chores, tech stuff, or just someone to chill with after a long day
