I am a single divorced father of three. None of my kids live at my place. I am gay. I love to stay fit and active. I enjoy gym, fitness classes and swimming. Great conversations over coffee or wine are a treat. Reading books are a delight.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

It provides a chance to meet a whole range of people who might otherwise never cross my path.
It gives me a chance to share my lovely apartment with guests and, I hope, provide them with pleasant accommodation and a friendly host while they visit Canberra, a city which I love.

I like acapella singing groups and mellow jazz music. Eva Cassidy is my favourite singer.
I am currently reading Pride and Prejudice - in French! I also enjoy history and biography.
My taste in movies and TV shows range from heart-wrenching biopics like Holding the Man, through to musical comedies like Mamma Mia and stretch to Science Fiction shows like V and action programs like Arrow.
