Life Journey:
I'm from Northeast China. After 13 years of hard studying, I’ve gradually moved south from my village over the almost past decade (2016–2026) . In 2016, I went to China University of Mining and Technology in Xuzhou to study Safety Engineering. In 2020, I was recommended for graduate school and went to Zhejiang University in Hangzhou to pursue a master’s degree in Power Engineering and Engineering Thermophysics. After graduating in 2023, I joined BYD in Shenzhen as an R&D engineer, where the good salary and enough vacation time have allowed me to travel outside China and start exploring the world during the past two years🌏

Current Situation and Plan:
After I started working, I gradually realized that the path of my life (major and career choices) was actually more about meeting the social expectations. For my job, I’m not interested in the work itself, I cannot find my value, and I can’t really see the meaning of what I’m doing (other than the decent salary(✿◡‿◡), for which of course I have to say that it's something deserves my appreciation, and I truly am). I’ve realized that this job is not my vocation! But the problem is, I still don’t know what direction I actually want to move toward🌱. Therefore, I quit my job at the beginning of this September in 2025.
I am taking a gap year, perhaps even longer, to deeply observe and experience different cultures. I want to see how people in other corners of the world live and think. I want to create a bit of value for the places I visit. If I'm fortunate, I hope this journey might also bring personal revelation, helping me find my direction!
I will visit Australia between 25.3 to 23.4(Melbourne, Sydney, Brisbane and Gold Coast). I also plan to travel to Southeast Asian countries, the United States and South America gradually. I need to go back to China to see the dentist every month so I want to stay in each place for about one month. For places that I'm interested in or large countries or regions, I will visit them multiple times.

More Details:
Personality: My MBTI is ENFJ. I think I am kind, sincere, outgoing, diligent, and also with strong empathy and sympathy.
Interests: I love traveling, hiking, watching movies, cooking (newly) and documenting life through writing and photography.
Finally: I sincerely hope that through the work-exchange experience, I can have meaningful friendships with people from diverse cultural backgrounds worldwide and maintain long-term connections!
