ABOUT ME

Hello and welcome to Huluwa Hostel

We are a group of young people - 9 Chinese and 1 foreigner aged between 19 and 24 - living in a share house. Our occupations range from students to interior designers to DJs to bartenders

Our aim is to meet people from other cultures, hear their stories and to share experiences to create long-lasting friendships

We are friendly, open-minded and energetic, and love to meet like-minded positive people

夏丹: I am Summer (aka Dana), from Nanjing. I'm active and a total social animal! I love music - especially rock, yoga and travel; I hope one day to trek all over the world. Welcome to visit our home when you visit Hangzhou

小白: I am Xiao Bai (Small White), I was born and raised in Beijing and now living in Hangzhou. I used to couch surf a lot during my trips and I hope we can also provide convenience for visitors as much as we can. Hope to meet more friends who like travelling~~

彭泽凯: I'm Lemphek or 小彭, a 19-year old foreigner from South Australia. I enjoy travel, music, card games and long romantic walks on the beach. I have recently moved to China and am enjoying being able to spit on the ground and eat in public spaces, although my Mandarin is not very good. I look forward to meeting!

彩信: I am Cai Xin, I come from Guangdong in the South of China, I do not speak English. I enjoy travel a lot and want to be like the 风女子 (wind woman)

浩子: My name is Haozi, I work as an interior designer. I keep to myself most of the time and enjoy watching movies in the late evening.

聪聪: I am Tsong-Tsong, I like anime, Japanese music, photography and eating lots of food. I am in love with my dog Armstrong, he is my son. I like to travel a lot, and want to travel to Japan! *fist pump* 哈哈哈哈哈 I like to laugh a lot, hahahaahahahahaha!

京岭: I am Jing Ling (aka Elfin), I like travel so much and have been to 18 countries. I am currently working as a financial consultant, and plan to continue traveling when I have saved enough. I will welcome you to our home

Many of us have couch-surfed in China and abroad, made possible by the generosity of others who shared their living space and lives with us. So we would like to pass on that generosity to others travellers coming to our home

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

Lemphek has couch-surfed throughout Mainland China, Cambodia, Taiwan and Australia, whilst we have hosted many people in our home
