About Me

CURRENT MISSION

Looking for the biggest prime number

ABOUT ME

I spent my first years in the Allgäu, which is a region in the very south of Germany, most known for milk, cheese and beautiful cows. I finished school and moved for a year to Dublin, Ireland to live in a community with people with mental disabilities. After this exciting and very interesting year I started studying math in Heidelberg. Half a year I spent as an exchange student in Budapest, Hungary. Right now I live in Jena and spend my time growing potatoes and tomatoes in the garden and playing Ultimate Frisbee.

PHILOSOPHY

I guess there is no "closed-form universe" for me. So nothing really to write in this box. Anyway I enjoy talking about answers to the question of life the universe and everything.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

Hosting and surfing.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

Growing :) My girl-friend and me had great hosts on our recent tour through the Balkans. And we try to be good hosts in Jena as well.

Interests

Probably I shouldn't start with my studies as this is usually scaring people off. Anyway: I am a math student and during the semester I am quite busy solving math puzzles in random places around the city. But because my brain gets dizzy after short time I am also doing something else :) I like to go on climbing, bike or hiking tours, play pool and share a couple of beers. I also love to prepare big meals for many people.

Music, Movies, and Books

All people are surprised how few movies I actually know. So don't be mad if I haven't seen your favourite one. Regarding music I really like the Eels and balkanish stuff like Bohemian Betyars.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

In Dublin or probably all over Ireland there is the traditional Sea swim on St. Stephens day, i.e. the 27th of December. Seeing so many people taking part and also having a hot Whiskey afterwards was a great experience.

Teach, Learn, Share

I can show you how to make the famous German bread. Introductory lesson to the Sourdough included.
