Well, I am a belgian student living in Lausanne. My parents are from different origins. My mother, which is Portuguese, brings with her the fresh air from the coast and the latino spirit. My father, which is English, allows us to get an "aperçu" on how crazy English people can be.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I am on Couchsurfing for the spirit.

I mean that I love the idea of meeting new people from everywhere in the world, and really get impregnated in the culture of a country while you are traveling. You get the advice from the people of the country, what to visit, where to go,...

Also, the many events which are organized are a great opportunity to meet some people, which is great if you are traveling on your own.

I get to go to a local person, but I also get to bring a bit of my culture with me. Showing it to others makes me proud.
