to educate about the merits of wind power!
i finally bit the bullet and got a job after 6 months of backpacking around euro. the job has sent me here to new zealand for the time being to work on a wind farm which is freaking cool! moved to melbourne about 7 years ago, lived at mannix college and had a sweet time, then moved into a house with 4 other mates. love having a barbie with a few brews, beaching, hiking, camping, music fests, chillin.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING
i'm just a happy proponent
i discovered it just before i went overseas, and bridge and i surfed quite a bit while we travelled. i definatly found it to be one of the most rewarding experiences of travel.
playing my new n64, a little bit of drums, live music, struggling with linux, cooking, hiking and riding, the usual stuff i guess
- live music
Music, Movies, and Books
hitch hikers guide to the galaxy series, he died with a felafel in his hand, trainspotting, lock stock & snatch, office space, super troopers, mogwai, my bloody valentine, sonic youth, tea party, smashing pumpkins, tool, something for kate. but really, these are just some things which came to mind, i wouldn't use them to paint a cross section of whom i am...
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
went to the aeolian islands to see where my girl gets her italian from; and realised that people really can live on ridiculously harsh (however beautiful) terrain
Teach, Learn, Share
i can tell you about electricity... that unfortunately doesn't interest many people. would love to learn more about some different cultures, like learning about history
