Overview
About Me
Hello! I’m Hüseyin, a 22-year-old Software Engineering student originally from Diyarbakır, currently living in the vibrant city of Istanbul.
I’m a curious soul who loves exploring the intersection of technology and culture. When I’m not debugging code or working on cybersecurity projects, you can find me planning my next adventure or learning about different world perspectives. I’m a friendly, easy-going person who values deep conversations, honesty, and a good sense of humor.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
For me, traveling isn't just about seeing famous landmarks; it's about the people you meet along the way. I’m on Couchsurfing to experience cities through the eyes of locals and to share stories that you can't find in a tour guide.
Whether it's discussing the latest tech trends, sharing a meal, or simply learning about your daily life, I believe every connection makes the journey better. I want to build a bridge between my Turkish roots and the global community.
Interests

Music, Movies, and Books
Music: I have a diverse taste in music; I enjoy the energy and rhythm of Rap, but I also find peace and focus in Classical music. It’s a contrast that keeps me balanced.
Books: I don’t have one specific favorite book, but I’m deeply drawn to Philosophy and Ideological works that challenge my perspective. I’m also a big fan of Personal Development, especially the works of Robert Greene, whose insights on human nature and strategy I find fascinating.
Movies: I’m mostly into War movies for their historical intensity and Detective films for the thrill of solving a complex puzzle—much like how I approach coding and cybersecurity.
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
Last December, I successfully passed a highly competitive CTF (Capture The Flag) exam and qualified for the "Siber Vatan" cybersecurity training program. It was an intense challenge that tested my analytical thinking and technical skills under pressure
Teach, Learn, Share
Teach: I can teach you the basics of coding, how to secure your digital life, or even share some delicious secrets of Turkish cuisine (specifically from the Southeast region).
Learn: I’m eager to learn about your local traditions, your language, or any life philosophy you live by. I’m also always looking to improve my English and broaden my global perspective.
Share: I can share deep conversations about technology, history, and the books of Robert Greene. Most importantly, I can share my positive energy and a traveler's curiosity.
What I Can Share with Hosts
I am a clean, respectful, and helpful guest. I can help you with any tech-related issues you might have or cook a traditional Turkish meal for us to enjoy together. More than a bed, I hope to offer good company, interesting stories from my travels and studies, and a genuine cultural exchange. I’m always happy to wash the dishes or help out with daily chores as a thank you for your hospitality.
