Welcome to my home in Istanbul!

Hi travelers! My name is rasim . I’m a teacher and a curious traveler who loves meeting people from different cultures. I enjoy conversations about science, technology, travel experiences and life stories.

My apartment is located in Istanbul with easy access to public transportation, so it’s very convenient to explore the city. Nearby you can find metro and tram stations, markets, cafés and local restaurants.

The place is simple but comfortable. Guests will have a clean place to sleep and access to basic facilities such as bathroom, kitchen and Wi-Fi. I prefer hosting friendly, respectful and open-minded travelers who enjoy cultural exchange.

I don’t charge money for hosting because Couchsurfing is about sharing and meeting people. However, if you would like to bring a small gift such as a drink or cigarettes as a friendly gesture, it would be appreciated. Of course this is optional — good conversation and positive energy are always welcome.

If you stay here, maybe we can drink tea, cook something together or explore Istanbul.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I’m on Couchsurfing because I genuinely enjoy meeting people from different cultures and hearing their stories. As an teacher , I’m naturally curious about the world and I like meaningful conversations about science, technology, travel, and different ways of life.

For me, Couchsurfing is about more than just hosting or finding a place to stay. It’s about cultural exchange, sharing experiences, and creating real human connections. I enjoy learning how people live in different countries and seeing the world through their perspectives.

When I host, I like to create a relaxed and friendly atmosphere. Sometimes we can share tea, talk about our travels, or even explore parts of Istanbul together if time allows. I appreciate respectful and open-minded travelers who enjoy good conversation and cultural exchange.
