CURRENT MISSION

Learn, grow, and see the world

ABOUT ME

Positive, outgoing, open minded and love having new experiences.

PHILOSOPHY
“So much of who we are is where we have been.” -William Langewiesche

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

From Couchsurfing in my early twenties, I have realized that it is way more than just accommodations. I have had the best experiences in other countries while being able to share my life and learn about others while couch surfing. As corny as it sounds, visiting a country with locals (and subsequently new friends), it’s priceless.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I haven’t actively surfed since 2014! But have been in and out of the community throughout the years. Hoping to surf this summer 2023.

Toulouse, France : I lived there for a month in 2019 and didn’t surf there but made lots of friends through the couch surfing community. Some of the best people I know.

Spain - Barcelona in 2014
South of France (Nice, Antibes, Marseille, and Aubagne) -2013-2014

(This was from 2013 & 2014, will update soon with stays I had in Nice and Barcelona!)
The best so far was last Summer in the South of France with my friend Christine. We surfed with "Matthias" in Aubagne a small town outside of Marseille. He took us to all the lovely sights of the nearby cities and shared his life with us. He mostly spoke French, so it was great being able to learn more French because it was the only way we could communicate. After that amazing experience we returned twice throughout the course of our trip..We are still good friends with him to this day :)
