About Me
CURRENT MISSION
Make sense of this insane world
ABOUT ME
I'm fascinated by ideas and imaginative people. I am interested in almost everything, especially the brain, physics and human behavior.
I am currently doing a PhD in Neuroscience at the University of Queensland. Apart from slaving away at university, I like going out to nature and have developed a severe addiction to Australian beaches.
PHILOSOPHY
I love to learn, learn new things, learn how to appreciate life and learn how to love others. I think love and compassion are the most important things in life. even if you have truth shining in your palm, people that change the world are the ones with compassionate and passionate hearts.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE
I lived with one person who is on CS and we hosted about 10 couchsurfers last year at our flat in New Zealand. And in Vietnam, I've also met up with many CSers and so far, the experience has been awesome. I think CS is a great network to meet interesting people and to learn about other places. All the people I've met are open-minded, intelligent, positive and adventurous. I've built some great friendships that inspire me in different ways and I still keep in touch with some CSers I hosted or met.
In a world that seems to be very much about greed and selfishness, CS gives hopes for generosity, trust and kindness.
Interests
reading, tramping, physics, maths, the brain, social movements, history, education, psychology , time with family and friends, observing people, languages, traveling to crazy places.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
I have seen people who dare to speak out against things that they see unjust, despite the danger they put themselves in. Their courage and their longing for freedom are the most inspiring thing I've seen.

Teach, Learn, Share
I can teach Vietnamese, a bit of physics and mathematics. and if you find Vietnamese culture very baffling (which I still do sometimes), maybe I can help.
I would love to learn another language (even a few phrases), cooking, music, or anything about your world!
