My personal catch phrase is "You make your own life". Every decision you have ever made (or not made) thus far, every desire you have fostered contributed to where, and what, you are now.

I realise there is a shit-load of evil in the world, but that it is all rooted in fear. This is secondary. If the world was such a terrible place, no amount of hope could sustain the survival of the human race thus far.

Balance is the key to a sensical life - simple as that. When people are truly happy and feel secure, they want to make others happy also!

I have hosted a few travelers over the years from various countries and shared great experiences. I have also recently (2016) stayed with hosts in Bamberg & Berlin Germany, and met some Incredibles at CouchSurfing events in Johannesburg, Milan, Rome, and Prague.

I've recently move to a new town and while living alone, would like to share my space with likeminded individuals from time to time.
