HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I am new to this, but I would love to be able to host people who come discover our beautiful part of the word! I just need to finish writing up my profile!

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I just returned for a trip to Spain and Portugal where I had some great couchsurfing experiences. I am now back home ready to welcome travellers!

Interests

I am a bit of a political junkie! Canadian federal politics in particular. I am interest in global and international affairs as a general theme. I care about the environment, climate change, democracy, community building.

On a lighter note, I enjoy spending time in the great outdoors, and if it involves water, I am all the happiest! Canoeing, kayaking, swimming, camping are all activities that get me excited. In the winter (because we do have a pretty long one here), cross-country skiing and snowshoeing are my top activities of choice!

I am a bit of a foodie as well and enjoy experimenting in the kitchen as much as possible. I love entertaining friends I should probably not admit this here, my worse weaknesses are cheese and chocolate.

I love travelling and need to get back to doing it more. I had great opportunities to travel in the past, but this last 2 years have been rather quiet on this front. But I say "basta" Spain, here I come!!!!
