Hi! I'm Hyejun, (like the song of Beatles Hey Jude ~).
I'm 25 and from South Korea.
I was in France to study art for 5 years,
and now I just quit the college and I'm on the road again for more adventure!
(But my art life is on going forever!!!)

I'm very positive and curious, also open minded.
I like meeting people and I'm inspired a lot by people.
I like to learn new languages and all of the new experiences!
That's why I travel by couchsurfing. I want to know more about the life of the local people than the famous tourist spots and shopping.

I've dreamed of traveling the world since when I was little.
The world is so wide and there are so many different people, I wonder about what they see, eat and heard. Also I want to learn many different way of life of people from all over the world. Now I'm trying to make my old dream come true little by little.

I travel with my old camcorder and film camera. I love expressing my experiences and emotions through art. Even when I'm not traveling, I always try to record almost every moment. There are so many precious and beautiful little moments in life, we overlook them so easily, and I'm afraid to forget those little moments. So I record my life and the peoples around me.
Everyone is shooting their own film, even though it's an independent movie. So if we meet, that's a collaboration in the life, we film together in the same moment.

If we meet, we can exchange our different language, and talk about the philosophies - about life and happiness! I'm pro to find out happiness anywhere anytime. I can also take a picture or draw you! I love being connected with people! We can communicate in many other languages like body language, dancing, music, cooking, art and sometimes just by eyes.

Also I love cooking! Cooking is a kind of meditation for me. I can cook delicious Korean foods and share my secret recipe with you👩🏻‍🍳.
(BTW I'm a vegetarian! So maybe I can cook for some good delicious Korean vegetarian/vegan foods :) But I'm not picky! No worries 😝)

I think it's a miracle thing to meet in this wide world, even though we are from different countries.

In Korea, there's a beautiful word . It has no perfect translation in English, but it speaks of a destined connection between people, a bond formed by invisible threads. If we ever meet, I believe there's a reason for it, even if we can't explain it. I hope you and I are connected by this beautiful "In-yeon".

And of course, like you welcomed me, you will welcomed anytime in Korea :)

我做过的一件不可思议的事情

- I've been to Poland before, and I've only traveled by people there. It was such a wonderful experience and I still keep in touch with them and it is a precious memory that I will never forget for the rest of my life.
- Met someone on Couchsurfing in other cities and be invited to their country
- Hitchhiking from Sofia to Istanbul
- Meeting someone on the road and became friends and still keep in touch and meet again

I take pictures with my film camera and make videos with my old camcorder. I want to record some people I meet during traveling. Or I can take a photo. It takes time to develop films and edit videos, so you will be able to see the later. It can be like a time capsule :)
