ABOUT ME
Hello! I'm Hyery Cho and 23 years old now. Let me introduce myself briefly in this first paragraph. I graduated from Yonsei university in South Korea and I am now an English teacher in a middle school. I have been to United States as an exchange student and while I was in there, I could get more extrovert person because I went to lots of parties and always tried to talk with other people that I newly met. If I show an evidence of those mentions, I got more friends than 300 in the face book when I was there.
I think when it comes to deciding whether you offer your couch or not, "personality" is the one of most important things. That's why I want to say about my personality in all about me part. In a sentence, I am a person who knows how to enjoy the life and the fact that the relationship among people is precious in my life. That is why I always try to meet new people and keep in touch with people that I already knew. For more example, I like to go to the pub, because I can meet a lot of people and learn their own personality through talking with them. Knowing people is such a nice teacher and invisible property in the life. If I could understand many types of people, even if I meet a kind of tricky person, I can be considerate to him or her.
If I add some more information except for my personality, I do like travel. For me who love to meet and become a friend with other people, it will be one of the greatest time in my (hopefully and your) whole life time. I am expecting that I can get the higher self confidence and inner grow.
PHILOSOPHY
"If I have the time for hesitation, I also have the time for doing it right now!"
Basically, I always think the day I am living and sometimes it's annoying is the day the dead people was eager to get. So I usually try to live my life really well. For instance, I make the plan and even the later plan for enjoying my life in order to prevent the waste of time.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING
I was looking for some information about my Europe travel that is absolutely the first travel by myself. I found this website.
COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE
I just checked in this webpage group, but I had some experience to offer and get the couch.
Now, I'm in United states as an exchange student. After I came here, I got lots of friends that live each different city or states. Especially I got a home stay for my seattle trip(3 days long) from one of my friends. (I will go there in September after coming back from eastern US trip. she said she is going to be her home and I can come to her place) In addition, I got some more couch surfing in Wien(Austria)-I will go there in this July and Tokyo(Japan)-I will go there in this December. For sure, I always allow my friends to stay in my place if I am free.
As you got to know from above paragraph, I am so friendly that I can be a person that another people allow me to stay me in their place. Staying other people's place is the most interesting thing that I think. For example, I have an experience that I allowed my friends' friend to stay in my place. It was pretty nice, because she was such a good person and had the same interest about music(jazz). We talked a lot in that night and became the friends. What a great experience! If I didn't offer my place, I could not notice it.

To be honestly, my interest is concentrated on MUSIC. I listen to almost all kinds of music. However, for sure, I have a specific preference. They are Jazz, classical music and K-pop music. When it comes to jazz and classical music, I have played the piano for 12 years. (I played the classical music for 10 years and after going to the college, I changed to jazz music) I took and am taking some music major courses in the college, even though I am not a music major student. In addition, every year, I go to international jazz festival. In this year, I will go to North sea jazz festival and Playboy jazz festival.
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
I did not try to go abroad by myself at all before I moved to US as an exchange student. However, a sort of accidently, I got to here by my self and I have adjusted to US's culture and English. In addition I got to understand people's own culture and personalities. Understanding something different is really fantastic experience. As I have done since I came here, I want to keep it up during going Europe and the eastern US travel.
Teach, Learn, Share
My first major is Education. As you can guess, I like to share what I know with other people. I can share east Asian language such as Korean and Japanese as well as Asian culture. For example there are a lot of simple games in Korea I can let my host know them and can do them together.
