Overview
About Me
Hey! I’m Hygor, an Internationalist, language teacher and explorer from Brazil. I teach Chinese, Spanish, Portuguese and English, and I’m currently doing an International Master’s Degree in Transnational Migration Law, in Italy. I’m into outdoor adventures, my favorites are biking, climbing, hiking, and playing frisbee. I also love photography, especially capturing moments that tell a story.
I really pay attention to my diet, I’m a flexitarian who loves to cook and share food, preferably with good company and good vibes. I’m a calm, down-to-earth optimist who believes peace starts within, even when life gets messy.
Always up for new stories, spontaneous plans, and genuine connections!
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
In times when we think we’re so connected, I choose to be a bit more analog-digital, spontaneous and curious person, trying not to fall into the typical tourist traps (at least I try!). I like to truly experience each place through my own eyes and senses: doing groceries with locals, visiting markets, and connecting to the simple, human side of being a world citizen.
I love meeting open-minded travelers, listening to their stories and recommendations, sharing recipes, and learning from different perspectives. That’s where the real magic of traveling happens for me.
