ABOUT ME

I am HYOJIN, but just call me HYO. I prefer the short one, because it sounds more familiar to me. :)
I live in Seoul, which is a capital of South Korea.
I was a worker until last year, but I quitted it, and I am preparing my new life, which is going to be energetic and fun!
I am not very extroverted, but friendly and warmhearted. As you feel, I am not very good at English, but I am trying to study hard! So, if you come to me someday, I could show and explain many things in Seoul to you. I am sure that Seoul and Korea are quite interesting places to travel.

PHILOSOPHY

My philosophy is frequently changed. Nowadays my motto is "Be happy, but not be satisfied.", that means, try to make myself always happy, however, always keep improving my ability and talent.

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

Now(Mar.19,2010),I live in Seoul, South Korea, but I am going to travel to Italy, Switzerland, France, and Spain soon for 1 month alone. Also, I have a plan to go to the U.S. this june for a few months. I really love walking on anywhere on the globe, and making acquaintance. I am the person who is always preparing to ready to step forward and YOU!

I think I have never couchsurfed yet. Frankly, I never imagined. So, this site is more interesting to me.

Music, Movies, and Books

My favorate singer thesedays is the Korean indi-band, Jang Ki-ha and faces. I am really into them. Also, I like many Korean singer-songwriters and their music, such as Lee Juck, Lee Seung-hwan, Yurisangja, and so on.
The case of film, I recently enjoyed 'Shutter Island'. Also, I love the combination of wong kar-wai and Tony Leung.
I love so many songs and films, but it is difficult to suddenly recall them.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

It will happen soon, because I am going to Europe alone in April. I guess that it will be a unforgettable memory in my whole life.

Teach, Learn, Share

I can definitely teach you Korean! HAHA
What else.., if you visit my place, I could serve my style's Korean food and teach how to cook. Furthermore, I play Kayagum, which is a traditional Korean instrument, so you can learn how to play it from me.
