About Me

CURRENT MISSION

To meet people from different cultures and share experiences.

ABOUT ME

Born in Peru, I quickly became a nomad at the age of four. Living my childhood throughout Latin America, I was exposed to different parts of the world, cultures, and points of view. I enjoy traveling to unconventional destinations and one of my biggest passions is learning languages. I am scared of planes and frogs, tadpoles included. I used to fence during college and speak Portuguese, English, Bahasa Indonesia, French, Spanish, Turkish, German, and Italian fluently.

PHILOSOPHY

Everyone walks through life but it is those who look to learn from people coming from different walks of life that travel the farthest...

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I am able to meet up for tea or ice cream :).

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I have been fortunate enough to be hosted in Indonesia twice so far and both experiences have been awesome..;). Looking forward to having more.

Interests

I love salsa, merengue, belly-dancing, and hip-hop. In my spare time, I plant camotes (sweet potatoes) in my garden.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

At the age of sixteen, I started my own non-profit organization called Recurso. Recurso partners with organizations around the world in various capacities by providing financial assistance, donations, emotional support and other much needed resources. This includes clothing, school supplies, water filters, fluoride treatments, folic acid for expecting mothers, and the construction of schools.

Teach, Learn, Share

Last year I started my own company called Hyperfluent that teaches individuals to embrace diversity through cultural immersion activities, traveling and language acquisition.

You can check it out at www.hyperfluent.com
