我为什么加入 Couchsurfing

When I joined CS for the very first time in 2010, the aim was to host people. I was living in Paris at that time. The experience was good, I met nice and respectful travelers every single time.
Then, I started traveling myself, so I decided to use CS as a surfer.
I wouldn't say being hosted isn't the point, but it's not the whole point! While traveling I had the chance to meet lovely people who hosted me, spent time with me, shared experiences, gave travel tips, and so much more! I'm still in touch with some people who hosted me 3 years ago!
Sometimes I used CS to find interesting events. This is how I joined a vegetarian okonomiyaki party, badminton sessions, language exchange sessions, and so much more in Osaka, where I stayed about a month. I had a very good time there and met many friends because of those events. And this is just an example.
I don't have the possibility to host anyone for quite long time now. But now that I settled down in Kraków I can start hosting again.

我做过的一件不可思议的事情

Starring at bears I met while I was hiking. It was fascinating and cute in a hand, scary and unconscious in the other one. It was in a forest in the Japanese alps, the cub tried to climb up the trees and fell down a couple of times before succeeding. I was really surprised to meet bears there, I tried to take pictures from distance, but I also tried to hide myself behind a tree, so I didn't any get good photo. I couldn't imagine the Mum's reaction if she would have seen me!
