I am an easy going, conservative and ethical individual who values spirituality. In my spare time I enjoy reading, particularly non-fiction and writing amongst other 'boring' indoor activities. Outdoor wise, I love hiking and other physical sport that does not compromise my modest Islamic clothing.

I have lived in many countries including Morocco, Egypt, UAE and Saudi Arabia. I learned so much from interacting with others and in addition to learning Arabic, they have been character building experiences.

I spend most of my time teaching English online or studying, but I do have the desire to learn how to cook and bake! Because of faith reasons, I would not stay with someone who drinks.

Music, Movies, and Books

I don't listen to music or watch movies, but I do love documentaries. I read a lot, but two of my favourite books in recent years that I recommend are 'The Brain that Changes Itself' and 'Subliminal'.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I went from being a fashion student with purple hair who had graduated from the top fashion schools in the world to leaving all of that superficiality at the age of 25 and seek spiritual enlightenment in Marrakech where I knew no-one and had no job!
