About Me

Since I've moved from Ouro Preto to São Paulo, I haven't been logging in couchsurfing as much as I should! Please feel free to search me at instagram: @iagorezal.

I'm a free spirited and open minded soul who believes in social exchange. Left wing, proud LGBTQ+ and happy to share cultural experiences. I work for orchestras and operas but I'm always up to a samba, bars and typical brazilian music places. Wanna join?

Avid traveler and adventurer with a passion for connecting with people from different cultures. I live in a small apartment in São Paulo, downtown. As my routine is quite busy, I sometimes host.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I have some friends who already travelled across the world and where hosted by incredible people. I was interested by their amazing stories and they made me create an account. Can't say I regret it though. And I'd also like to use this space to write something more: I've been receiving a lot of careless and cold requests. For those who are not used with it, it's not a hostel. I'd gladly host you but please, read the profiles, don't copy and paste and keep it a little bit more personal. Couchsurfing is not just about the money, it's about meeting, learning and sharing as well.

Interests

I love watching movies, playing video games and chatting about everything, from disney to politics. I also love traveling (and I think you do to, right? It's what we have in common :) ).
Camping, swimming and exploring is always a great interest for me as well. I feel like scaping town at least once a month and discovering simple but pretty nature landscapes around my region.

Music, Movies, and Books

From Iranian films to Shrek 2. From Bach to Beyoncé. From A Hundred Years of Solitude to HQs.

I love culture and I have a thing for all latin american expressions of art: cinema, music, literature and fine arts.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I've gone camping in a colombian national park, sleeping in a not so comfortable hammock, in a paradise without electric energy.

Spent my university days in Ouro Preto, one of the greatest cities in Brazil for students

Spent Halloween in Transylvania

Climbed the Andes, world's longest mountain range

Teach, Learn, Share

Teach respect, learn about life and share a lot of love!

What I Can Share with Hosts

I live in a studio in the very centre of São Paulo, next to Anhangabaú station, Theatro Municipal and a bunch of cultural spots. I've a couch and an extra mattress but as it's a studio, there's no walls. I share my house with Paiol, my cat. :)
