What I enjoy most about travel is meeting people, immersing myself in new cultures and experiencing a richer picture of what it means to be human. learning about who I am by experiencing that which is different to me.

I love trying new foods and ways of cooking. Also learning dances especially Latin.

I write songs, play guitar and hope one day to have my own album available online for friends and 'fans'. :-)

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I am working internationally as a teacher and hope to meet like-minded people for fun, support and chat.

I hope to meet some people who know the best places to eat , listen to music and maybe even play guitar a little.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Apart from having actually lived this long; which is amazing in itself I did a few things recently ...

swam 3km last week in the local gym
made 2 pounds of raspberry and apple jam over the weekend
Went to LA this summer to have my first album produced professionally
salsa danced in UK, Barcelona, Paris, Oslo, Prague
Taught for 3 years in China with some amazing students. Ate real Chinese food
visited an old people's home in Kazakhstan this week with my students to play songs to the old folks.

If I can play my new album in Philippines this year I will very amazed :)
