ABOUT ME

Have lived and worked in New Zealand and Canberra for 15 years as a Government employee. I travel several times a year for fun and try to meet as many new people as I can during my travels.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I became introduced to couchsurfing during my first overseas holiday in 2009.

I spent 2 months traveling around the United States of America and then Canada for a couple of weeks. In that time I stayed with some truly amazing people, read my references for specifics. I stayed with this cool guy Jesse for one night in New York, and then moved onto Alexandria, Virginia where I am stayed with the most caring and nicest family ever, in Miami Beach I stayed with a really cool guy David who made my stay that much better, in New Orleans I stayed with two really friendly guys who showed me around , and I stayed with a few really friendly families in Colorado Springs. I really enjoy my time doing the couch surfing thing.

Some people don't like flying, I enjoy the ability to fly anywhere in the world within 24 hours. I enjoy the comforts that can come by planning your trip well. But most importantly I enjoy hopping off that plane when I get to my destination and setting about exploring the world.
