find a way to move to berlin. also, become an amateur cartographer.

ABOUT ME

I grew up in minneapolis, minnesota, which I absolutely adore. after spending a couple years living in japan and a few months traveling after that, I find myself back home plotting where to go and what to do next. in the meantime, I'm catching up with my family, living with my mom, who is a psych nurse, and my little brother sean, who is 11 and the center of my world. I also have two sisters, carissa (15), and shelby (13), who live with my dad (who was a carpenter and is now some kind of carpenters' boss) and stepmom. I am also close with my grandmothers, aunts/uncles, and cousins(who are like siblings). my family is very important to me, as are my friends--the closest of which I consider family anyway. I can be a little shy in groups, which is why I prefer smaller gatherings until I know people well. I tend to form very close relationships with few people as opposed to having a large group of acquaintences. that being said, I do love to meet new people, especially in situations where we have lots of time to talk.

I think my most transferrable skill would be japanese--I can help navigate trains, restaurants, general life in japan. the thing I am most skilled at is photo development, black&white and some alternative processes.
