ABOUT ME

I currently live and work in the beautiful San Francisco Bay Area. I love to travel and meet new people and make new friends wherever I go. I enjoy making art and meeting other creative minds.
When exploring new cities I like to walk everywhere and find destinations that I didn't expect to. I don't travel with an agenda, I just hope to learn. I appreciate all people and cultures.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I have hosted several surfers in my home. I spent a month in Europe and met some really great people that hosted me during my stay. My home is always open although I've received many requests without any follow through. I'm flexible, but it does take time and consideration to open your doors so I always appreciate knowing in advance whether you'll actually arrive.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I've met some really wonderful people and I expect more great experiences. I've been very impressed with the surfers I have hosted and the conversations I've had have made this a worthwhile experience already.

Interests

I have oh so many...love to read, write, draw, travel...exercise, eat, spend time with friends, dog, family. I don't like small talk, but good conversation is priceless to me.

Music, Movies, and Books

I enjoy anything by David Sedaris. I am doing my best to read more books in Spanish. I also like to challenge myself with French texts, I need the practice.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Traveled to foreign countries with myself and only myself. And realized that we are all the same as much as we want to be different and despite insisting that we are different.

Teach, Learn, Share

Language is very interesting and important to me. I speak English and Spanish fluently. I hope to learn more languages as I move forward in my travels.
