Why I’m on Couchsurfing

Consider this: people from all over the world meeting for the first time who would otherwise never have met. The sensation of being complete strangers, but still giving each other the chance to meet, to share, to get to know one another. Then time passes. It passes, and you realise you learned something from them, from everyone you met along the way. You made a new friend, you had a new CS experience… you got to know them - even if only briefly, a glimpse into their stories. You are asking why I am here. I am here because of these glimpses, these various brief moments that combine to form a patchwork of travel experiences known as CouchSurfing.
