About Me
Hey! Trying not to sound cliché, but… here we go 😄
I’m Marcos, from São Paulo, in my early 30s, and married to Anne — so yeah, just to be clear, I’m not here for dating 😄
I’ve been working in tech for about 10 years, and it’s something I genuinely enjoy (yes, I’m that kind of nerd). I’m always up for a good conversation, especially if there’s a cold beer involved 🍺
In my free time, I play Counter-Strike and follow the competitive scene, play volleyball regularly, and sometimes go watch local matches around the city.
I’m here to meet cool people, join events, and make the most out of the Couchsurfing experience.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
I’m here to meet people, experience local culture in a more authentic way, and step outside the typical tourist path.
For me, it’s more about the connection and the exchange than just having a place to stay.

Music, Movies, and Books
My music taste really depends on the moment — I can go from rock to rap pretty easily, and of course there’s always some Brazilian music in the mix.
I’m more of a series person than movies, especially when the story involves strategy, power, or complex characters. I enjoy shows where you can really follow people’s decisions and consequences over time — that kind of storytelling always gets me hooked.
When it comes to books, I usually lean towards personal finance, business, and tech. I like content that makes me think differently or helps me improve something in real life, whether it’s mindset, money, or how things work behind the scenes.
Teach, Learn, Share
I can share a lot about technology, cybersecurity, and how things work behind the scenes on the internet.
I’m also happy to share Brazilian culture, food tips.
I’d love to learn about different cultures, local routines, and how people live in other parts of the world.
