Hello! I'm a traveler who is home often enough to welcome fellow travelers and adventurers from time to time. I do have children and pets, my home is a happy, warm and comfortable cabin. I'm close to water and a couple of nice parks including some great mountain biking and cross country ski trails.
I am glad to make new friends and look forward to hearing about your experiences while I plan my future travels. I'm inspired every day by listening, watching and talking to interesting people. I believe fear is healthy to an extent but too much shrinks the brain and limits our potential for memorable adventures and learning. Life is too short to be afraid of all strangers. A little caution aside and a little faith in good humanity makes a happy person. Be safe, be wise, have good discernment and enjoy life!

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I want to turn over every rock, see the States from coast to coast, see the world eventually and meet others like me. I am open minded and curious about different lifestyles, cultures, climates, attitudes and philosophies. Couch surfing seems like an excellent way to affordably broaden my experiences. It seems like a wonderful way to hear about the experiences of others while providing an air mattress and a bathroom for those who are passing through.
