Although I had the privilege to see parts of the world through various family vacations, I have always lived in a small community. As of now I am a High School senior looking for an adventure. My activities are fairly rounded out between school sports, work, and hanging out with friends but with my own flair of uniqueness. My hobbies include skiing, video production, and partying with friends. People like me (so I'm told) because of my light heartedness and positive attitude. To summarize, I am a typical teenager who wants to see the world and have fun doing it!

Avoiding any additional costs in a foreign country is great but I want to meet new people! Finding a host who will show me a bit about an unknown city would be awesome. A person willing to hang out and explore the city I'm staying in would be great. I'm on Couchsurfing to meet new people.

What originally started as a scheme to get some cool video equipment, actually turned out to make me a more compassionate person. The company Adobe provides funding to high school students who want to improve the world. I chose the most stereotypical topic I could and asked for funding to produce a video, bringing to light the homeless situation in our community. When arriving to the Adobe headquarters, I was the first to show up, best presentation there and to paraphrase, I had the best proof of concept. I felt bad for my competitors. Most of the pitches had better ideas than I, although none them could prove their ideas were better. I received one thousand dollars for my digital media class. After spending much time interviewing police officers, people who are homeless, and volunteers my eyes were further opened to my own entitlement. There are many people living less than a mile away who are far less fortunate than me. I have been dedicating much of my free time to the research required to solve a difficult problem in my town. Sacrificing my time will hopefully provide the homeless with the resources they need to get off their feet. There is much to be done to better the conditions many people live in right now but I can provide a large step to an ultimate solution.
