Overview
About Me
IMPORTANT! I am THREE HOURS NORTH of New York City, although sometimes this profile will appear in NYC results.
I generally can only host for one or two nights.
_____
By day I work for the NYS Office of Parks, Recreation, and Historical Preservation supporting zoos and botanical gardens and the like, while at night I research local history. Especially weird history (it's usually weird). And especially murders. Recovering journalist.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
I LIKE PEOPLE. I especially like showing people around the city that I love.
And I have a couch to offer. It's not the most plush couch, but I've slept on it more than a few times on accident, so its good enough for most people.
Interests
I'm just as comfortable donning a leather jacket and Doc Martens for an 80s dance party as I am heading to a low-key storytelling night at the Olde English, our local English pub, or going on a visit to the local art museum.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
ugh, idk, biked from Portland, OR to the Canadian border once, really liked the Hoh Rainforest even though it rained the whole time and there were enormous banana slugs. We also made it up Mount Rainier.
Countries I’ve Visited
Bermuda, Canada, Mexico
