My girlfriend and I both recently finished our degrees and decided to set off on a year long adventure of Central and South America. We are from Canada, born and raised a couple hours from the mountains. We love being outside and adventuring new places. We landed in Guatemala on the 17th of August and have done a week of Spanish school to try and get a head start on our language for the next year!

I'm on Couchsurfing to try and meet and stay with people on our adventure who know more about the areas we are visiting than we do or the guidebooks do. We also want to meet people with whom we can practice the language and teach us about the culture.
