My name is Ian Evans and I'm actually twenty nine not twenty. I'm currently a World History and Civics(government) teacher for high school in rural Louisiana. I've been to 40+ countries and 48/50 states!

When I was young I was a really picky eater. One day One of my friends convinced me to try some sushi. it was so good that I got upset thinking about all the things I had missed out on by being narrow minded. Since then I always give everything a chance and one of my life motto's is to try everything twice.

I'm on couch surfing because I've found the best thing about any place is the people. And people who are open and willing to accept complete strangers into their homes are exactly the type of people I'd like to surround myself with. Also you can't beat free!

I love to explore. Especially the outdoors. Hiking, camping, skiing, kayaking, etc. I like to read and to learn new things.

I love most music. I'm a fan of historical fiction and the occasional sci Fi novel. I like a good documentary and all sorts of movies though i do lean towards action. My guilty pleasure would definitely be romantic comedies and I have a soft spot for Disney.

I'm not sure what this section is for, but I've worked as a tutor in various subjects. Volunteered in disaster relief for ten months with AmeriCorps. And traveled quite often throughout my life.
